The Rector of Thamar University Inaugurates the End of the First Semester Exams at the Faculty of Applied Sciences

■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi was inaugurated today accompanied by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai the end of the first semester of the academic year 1445 (2023/2024)at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University.
During the inspection of the examination halls, the Rector of Thamar University urged the students to do their best to achieve the highest grades, especially that the specialties studied at the Faculty of Applied Sciences are vital and important specialties and are closely related to the needs of society.
Dr. Al-Haifi also pointed out the importance of students taking advantage of the opportunity available to them to lose security and stability and the availability of educational means and appropriate infrastructure.
He stressed that these elements are not available to their colleagues in the occupied areas. He also called on them to feel the suffering of their colleagues in Gaza whose Universities, Mosques, Homes and Schools were destroyed by the Zionist occupation forces with unparalleled hatred of Arabism and Islam.
The Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs expressed his happiness with the conduct of the end-of-semester tests at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Thamar University and praised the smoothness and excellence of the process that was organized, as all necessary arrangements were made to facilitate the conduct of tests in a calm and orderly manner which helps students focus and achieve success in the exams.
During his visit, Prof. Al-Haifi also listened to a detailed explanation by the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Fahmy Al-Absi in which he touched upon the measures taken to ensure the organization of tests in a suitable environment for students at the college.
The inauguration witnessed the presence of the College's exam organizing body and Faculty members, in addition to a number of the University's Academic and Administrative Leaders, including the Vice-Rector Assistant for Academic Affairs, the Rector's Consultant for Cultural Affairs, the General Secartary of the College, the Director of University Security, and the General Director of Media at the University.
