January 18, 2024 ■ Researcher Rashid Eida Mohammed Al-Rashdi received today a master's degree with excellence from the Department of English language at the Faculty of Arts, Thamar University, for his scientific thesis tagged with "Linguistic and Cultural Difficulties in Simultaneous Translation from English to Arabic" The discussion and judging committee consisted of Associate Professor of Translation at the Faculty of Arts, Thamar University, Dr. Abdul Ahmed Ali Monasar, as a Chairman and Internal Debater, Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Education, Thamar University, Dr. Abdullah Ali Mohammed Al-Eryani, as a Member and Scientific Supervisor, and Assistant p Professor of Phonetics at IBB University, Dr. Mohammed Ali Ali al-Khlidi, as a Member and External Debater. During the public discussion session, the discussion and judging committee praised the topic of the thesis and its scientific level, considered it an important addition to the National Library, praised the efforts of the researcher and approved the granting of a master's degree in English, a language specialty with excellence.
