January 24, 2024 ■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haif attended today the closing of the activities of training programs on the code of Professional Conduct and work ethics, the development of services and simplification of procedures in public service units organized by the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance, in partnership with the Local Authority in the Governorate, and the National Institute of Administrative Sciences. The program, in which the trainee team from Thamar University excelled, aimed to provide 140 trainees from 13 Administrative Units in the Governorate with skills and knowledge related to performance development and the application of the job code of conduct over a period of 12 days. In conclusion, the Minister of Civil Service of the Caretaker Government, Mr. Salim Al-Mughalis, stressed that the implementation of the program comes as a translation of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership aimed at Administrative Development, Reform of state institutions and improving their performance. He pointed out that the code of professional conduct, the development of services and the simplification of procedures are qualitative projects aimed at reducing administrative red tape in state agencies to ensure that they fulfill their role in meeting the aspirations of citizens in providing a perfect service with minimal time and effort. He praised the level of implementation of the training program and the results achieved from the training, hoping that Dhamar will be a model in administrative performance. The Governor of Dhamar, Mr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, pointed out the importance of translating what the trainees received into practical reality to enhance administrative performance and simplify procedures within institutions and offices. He stressed the importance of sensing responsibility and being aware of the seriousness of the stage and working to meet the community's expectations of services. In a statement to the University's Media, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, pointed to the importance of the services development guide and simplifying procedures in contributing to breaking administrative complications and facilitating transaction procedures in order to provide affordable and quality services to The Citizen. He praised the efforts of the Ministry of Civil Service in the preparation and implementation of such development projects. The Rector of the University expressed his hope that the participants in the course benefited from its outputs so that they could apply what they received in their practical reality. From his part, the Dean of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Qatabri, reviewed the importance of the training program and its role in upgrading administrative work, developing government services, simplifying procedures and applying the draft code of professional conduct, considering the implementation of the program as an urgent requirement to reduce red tape in enterprises.
