The Dean of Medical Sciences reviews in a meeting with the teaching assistants (laboratories and course description plan) ❏ Jamal Al-Bahri / Thamar University Media / August 1, 2023: ■ The Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Adel Amran, and his deputies for academic and student affairs, along with the faculty staff of academics and teaching assistants, reviewed the equipment of the study laboratories and their readiness to start the academic year 2023-2024, as well as inspecting the building of the new laboratories. In the meeting held at the faculty headquarters. the dean discussed with the teaching assistants the plan for the description of the courses prescribed by the departments, and stressed the need to adhere to them, for their part, the teaching assistants raised the difficulties facing the implementation of their obligations, and proposals to improve the educational process, expressing their appreciation for understanding the faculty leadership. For those difficulties and a serious desire to develop appropriate solutions to them. For his part, the Dean confirmed that the faculty is in the process of opening a master's program for a number of disciplines and that the priority will be for teaching assistants to pursue their higher studies in the faculty in addition to performing the tasks entrusted to them. On the other hand, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs directed the need for the teaching assistants to adhere to the directions of the subject professors, and gave the teaching assistants a brief explanation of the effective university teaching methods. The Vice Dean for Student Affairs also gave an overview of the laboratories, methods of implementing the practical aspect, and the procedures followed in requesting the needs of the laboratories.
