The Faculty of Dentistry at Thamar University Commemorates the Prophet's Birthday with a Cultural and Religious Event

■ The Faculty of Dentistry at Thamar University and the University Student Forum commemorated the Prophet's birthday for the year 1448 today with a cultural and religious event celebrating this auspicious religious occasion. This coincided with welcoming new students and honoring top students for the academic year 1447, under the theme of the verse, { محمد رسول الله والذين معه اشداء على الكافرين ، رحماء بينهم}.
At the event, held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and attended by faculty, administrators, and students, the Vice-Rectorsfor Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai who emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, which strengthens the connection to the life, morals, values, and principles of the Prophet Mohammed.
He pointed out that the occasion represents a spiritual and educational milestone for drawing lessons from his noble life and instilling the values of knowledge, ethics, compassion, and solidarity among students.
In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, addressed the significance of the occasion in the nation's conscience and the guiding values that the Prophet's life embodies for future generations. He stressed the importance of university students translating these values into their academic and university conduct, thus contributing to building a generation equipped with knowledge, awareness, and responsibility.
The program also included a speech by Hamzah Al-Mawshki, an Islamic Studies instructor, who discussed aspects of the Prophet's life and his esteemed position. Additionally, a representative from the University Student Forum expressed the students' pride in this occasion and the opportunity it presents for incorporating Prophetic values into their academic and professional lives.
The event featured a variety of recitations and cultural performances expressing joy at the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday. A portion of the program was dedicated to honoring the top students of the 1447 academic year, recognizing their excellence and encouraging them to continue their academic achievements.
The event was attended by the General Secretary of the College, Fahmi Al-Shami, the Head of the University Student Forum, Mohammed Bajah, as well as a number of academic and administrative leaders, faculty and staff members, and students from the College of Dentistry.
