The University Rector inaugurates the first semester exams for 618 students at the College of Dentistry

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, inaugurated the first semester exams at the College of Dentistry today, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tayri, and a number of the college's leaders and cadres.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Haifi expressed his appreciation for the level of academic discipline in the college, calling on students to make more efforts in their academic achievement and benefit from the excellence of their college, which is the first of its kind in the Republic of Yemen and enjoys modern capabilities and equipment that make it a pioneer at the regional level.

The University Rector, in the presence of the General Secretary of the college, Hisham Al-Mahdi, pointed out the great development achieved by the college in postgraduate programs and in the quality of scientific research published by faculty members in the college in the name of Thamar University, stressing that the college today provides distinguished opportunities for precise specializations in dentistry, which spares students the need to leave the country to obtain higher degrees.

He explained that what is required of students now is distinguished academic achievement and a focus on practical applications and qualitative research, which qualifies them to join the qualitative postgraduate programs offered by the college, with all efficiency and competence.

From his part, the Dean of the college praised the University Rector for his continuous interest in the College of Dentistry and his constant keenness to visit it and provide support to solve the challenges it may face and stressed that the care of the University president contributes greatly to strengthening the academic environment in the college, which helps it achieve its goals in providing distinguished education and graduating qualified medical cadres that meet the needs of society.
