The Rector of the University Visits the Faculty and Hospital of Dentistry Thamar University Media / Jumad Akher 6, 1445. December 19, 2023 Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University checked out today with the Leadership of University the Dentistry College in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tayri, and the General Secretary of the College, Mr. Hisham Al-Mahdi, where they discussed the most important topics that contribute to raising the pace of performance and achievement in the College, the difficulties faced by the college and the proposed solutions to overcome them. During the visit, the Rector of the University, his entourage and Prof. Dr. Abdullah Emran toured the Departments of the College, Lecture Halls, Laboratories, the Department of Radiology, Postgraduate Studies at the College, as well as the Dental Hospital at the College. The Rector of the University and his Entourage reviewed the expansions and improvements made at the Dental Hospital, as well as new improvements and additions in Higher Studies Department. Moreover, the Rector of the University reviewed the College's initiative in solidarity with the Palestinian people by raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags on the walls of the Dental Hospital and the building of the Faculty of Dentistry and its external walls. The Rector of the University spoke to the students and attendees about the importance of reviving Palestine as a central issue that evokes religious feelings, and the appreciation of Yemeni people for the Patient, Mujahid, and Hero Palestinian people. He pointed out that the Palestinian people are our role models in patience, perseverance and defiance. The Rector of the University explained that the Faculty of Dentistry received displaced Palestinian Students, Students of the Palestinian Interior, especially students from Ghaza, and the University provided through the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, all possible facilities for them which are insignificant compared to what our steadfast people deserve in Palestine.
