Launch of Competitive Exams for Parallel Program Applicants at the Faculty of Dentistry

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, along with Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, inaugurated today the competitive exams for students applying to the parallel program at the faculty.

Ninety-eight male students are competing for the available places in the program, within an organized and electronic framework that ensures accuracy and transparency in the various stages of admission.

The inauguration was attended by Hisham Al-Mahdi, the Consultant of the Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Muallami, the University Registrar, Mr. Fahmi Al-Shami, the General Secretary of the Faculty, as well as a number of faculty and administrative staff members.

During his tour of the examination halls, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs reviewed the examination process and its implementation mechanisms. He listened to explanations of the organizational and technical procedures followed and commended the excellent preparation and high level of discipline, which reflected the readiness of the college and the Student Affairs sector to conduct the selection process with high efficiency.

Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai affirmed that Thamar University continues to develop its admissions and registration system by implementing an automated electronic selection system. This system reinforces the principles of fairness, integrity, and transparency, ensuring that academic excellence alone is the criterion for competition. He noted that the electronic system provides the highest levels of reliability and accuracy, enhancing applicants' confidence in the selection results.

From his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, explained that the college is committed to providing a suitable examination environment and comprehensive organizational procedures that ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations. He emphasized that the increasing demand for admission to the college reflects the growing confidence in its academic programs and the quality of its educational outcomes.
