Launching of the New Academic Year 1448 at the Faculty of Dentistry, Thamar University

■ This morning, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inaugurated the new academic year 1448 at the Faculty of Dentistry.

This inauguration was a part of the field visit program implemented by the university leadership to assess the readiness of the faculties and their preparations for welcoming students at the start of the new academic year.

The University Rector was accompanied during the inauguration by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabaiba, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the Head of the Media and Public Relations Department, Jamal Al-Bahri, the General Director of Public Relations, Khaled Al-Eshawi, and a number of other university leaders and staff members.

During the visit, the University Rector met with the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, and several faculty members and administrative staff. He received a briefing on the arrangements and preparations for the start of the new academic year, as well as the organizational and academic work completed to ensure the efficient operation of the educational process.

The University Rector emphasized the importance of continuing to develop medical and applied education programs and enhancing the quality of practical training for students at the college. This, he explained, will contribute to preparing qualified professionals capable of meeting the needs of the health sector and serving the community.

He also encouraged the students to persevere, commit to their studies, and take advantage of the available educational and training opportunities, wishing them a successful and distinguished academic year.

From his part, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, along with his Consultant for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Hisham Al-Mahdi, the College's General Secretary, Fahmi Al-Shami, and several other college leaders and staff members, welcomed the University Rector and his accompanying delegation.

He expressed his appreciation for the university leadership's commitment to monitoring the educational process and its ongoing support for the colleges, which contributes to enhancing the quality of academic performance and achieving the university's goals and future aspirations.
