Thamar University Launches Entrance Exams for 50 Places in the Faculty of Dentistry for 345 Applicants

■ In a move reflecting Thamar University's commitment to fostering a competitive environment and enhancing the quality of the selection process to choose the best applicants for its medical faculties, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, and with official and academic attendance reflecting the university leadership's dedication to establishing standards of scientific competition and transparency in admission procedures, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, inaugurated the entrance exams this morning for 50 places in the Faculty of Dentistry.

The inauguration was attended by Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Assistant Rector of the University for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as a number of academic and administrative leaders. A total of 345 students sat for the entrance exams, competing for 50 available places in the faculty.

During the inauguration, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs praised the high level of organization and preparation that accompanied the examination process. He highlighted the academic standing of the Faculty of Dentistry at Thamar University, explaining that it is one of the leading dental faculties in the Republic of Yemen, thanks to its specialized academic staff and educational programs that contribute to preparing qualified medical professionals capable of meeting the needs of society and the job market.
