Inauguration of the Computer Lab at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Thamar University with Support from Yemen Mobile

■ Thamar University inaugurated its computer lab at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences today, following the provision of (15) modern computers donated by Yemen Mobile, as part of its support for the educational process and the enhancement of the university's technological and training infrastructure.

During the inauguration, the ribbon was cut to mark the opening of the lab, which had been equipped earlier this year with (15) computers provided by the Public Telecommunications Corporation of Yemen. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Deputy Governor of Dhamar, Ahmed Ali Al-Dhurani, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Director of Yemen Mobile's Affairs Department, Mr. Abduljabbar Mohammed Al-Badawi, the Support Coordinator, Mohammed Al-Badawi, the General Secretary of the Institute of Continuing Education, and the General Secretary of the Faculty, Mr. Abdullah Rajih.

The Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, emphasized the importance of this support in developing the educational and training environment and enhancing students' capabilities in modern technical fields. He pointed out that equipping computer labs is a crucial step towards improving educational outcomes and keeping pace with the demands of scientific and technological advancements.

The University Rector expressed his gratitude to Yemen Mobile for its support of the university and its initiative in equipping computer labs in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Computer Science. He also commended the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and its various sectors for their support of the educational process, particularly in technical and digital fields, which contributes to the development of academic institutions and the training of qualified personnel capable of meeting the demands of the modern era.

From their part, the attendees praised this initiative, stressing the importance of strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and various national sectors, and unifying efforts to contribute to the development of the educational and technological infrastructure and to serve students and the educational process at Thamar University.
