Thamar University Launches First Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences

■ In a new academic step that enhances scientific and research activity at Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University and the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, announced today the launch of the first scientific conference of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences during the first meeting of the conference's preparatory committee with the heads and rapporteurs of the various committees.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Head of the Preparatory Committee, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the Genetal Secretary of the University and Rapporteur of the Supervisory Committee, as well as the heads and rapporteurs of the various committees.
The Unversity Rector affirmed that the announcement of the first scientific conference of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences represents a significant academic milestone in the faculty's journey. He noted that the conference, though held nearly three decades after its establishment, is a long-awaited academic achievement and a genuine opportunity to highlight the faculty's role and its scientific and research contributions to serving the community and development.
Professor Al-Haifi pointed to the growing scientific activity at Thamar University, noting that the university has hosted three scientific conferences this year, the most recent being the first scientific conference of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, held in its third year since its founding. This, he said, demonstrates the increasing interest in scientific conferences and the strengthening of scientific research across the university's various faculties.
The Unversity Rector called upon the members of the preparatory, organizing, and scientific committees to exert their utmost efforts and ensure diligent and outstanding preparation for the conference's success. He emphasized that its success is a collective responsibility requiring integrated roles and concerted efforts from all committees and relevant parties.
He stated that the success of the conference would not only represent a success for the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, but also for Thamar University and Dhamar Governorate in general, given its potential as a scientific platform that brings together researchers, academics, and specialists, contributing to the enrichment of knowledge and the discussion of scientific and administrative issues relevant to current realities and development needs.
From her part, Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Head of the Conference, affirmed that the launch of the Faculty's first scientific conference represents a significant historical milestone in its academic journey and a qualitative step towards strengthening its scientific and research role. She commended the university leadership's interest and support in holding the conference and emphasized the Faculty's and all conference committees' commitment to presenting a scientific event befitting the stature of the Faculty and Thamar University.
Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, the Head of the Conference's Scientific Committee, explained that the committee has finalized the conference's scientific themes, participation requirements and regulations, and research submission deadlines. He called upon academics, researchers, and specialists to participate widely and contribute high-quality research and studies that will enrich the conference sessions and achieve its scientific and intellectual objectives.
