Thamar University Discusses Projects of 150 Accounting Students in the College of Administrative Sciences

■ The College of Administrative Sciences at Thamar University hosted distinguished academic sessions to discuss the graduation projects of 150 students from the Accounting Department.

This academic event, filled with official attendance and student interaction, embodied the fruits of long-standing academic efforts and fruitful cooperation between the college and its students.

At the opening of the sessions, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride in the outputs of the Accounting Department, emphasizing the importance of this vital specialization in building strong financial and economic systems.

He also urged students to serve as role models and honorable examples for Thamar University in the fields of work and knowledge and to serve as future pillars of which their families and their country will be proud.

From his part, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, commended the active role of the College of Administrative Sciences, describing it as a successful and shining model not only at the university level, but also at the national and regional levels. He also commended the efforts of the college's deanship and staff in developing a supportive and distinguished educational environment.

The event was attended by Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mujahid, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of the University's Media and Public Relations Department and Mr. Abdullah Rajeh, the General Secretary of the College.

Several faculty members from the Accounting Department also attended the event, and they supervised the discussion and evaluation of the graduation projects.

The submitted projects ranged from classical accounting topics with authentic scientific roots to modern studies that respond to market changes and developments in financial technology.

These projects were admired by the discussion committee, which commended the students' academic level, noting the quality of the research and application in most of them.

The committee also provided detailed guidance and constructive feedback to the students, aiming to enhance their academic performance and motivate them to develop their skills to meet the demands of the labor market.

It's worth noting that this event is a part of the College of Administrative Sciences' plans to promote applied research and encourage students to integrate theory with practice, contributing to the preparation of qualified accounting personnel with high academic and professional competence.
