Inspection of the College of Education and Emphasis on Strengthening its Educational and Humanitarian Role

■ As a part of Thamar University's commitment to developing educational performance and enhancing academic performance, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, made an inspection visit to the College of Education.
He was accompanied by the University's General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Hutram. The visit met with the college's leadership to discuss support for the college and a number of academic, financial and administrative issues.
During the meeting, the University Rector emphasized the importance of a good start to the new academic year in the college's various departments, affirming continued support for its leadership in order to achieve a qualitative shift in this vital institution, which is responsible for advancing society and the nation in both its scientific and humanitarian aspects.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Bashir Zendal, the Assistant Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Masoud Al-Hadi, his deputy, Dr. Ali Qaradha, the Director of the Language Center at the University, Dr. Amin Al-Jamal, the General Secretary of the College, Dawla Al-Emdi, and a number of university and college leaders.
The College and Center's commitment to fingerprint attendance was emphasized, demonstrating the commitment of academic and administrative staff to ensuring the attendance of those committed to their academic duties.
They emphasized that this would distinguish those who fulfill their duties and provide them with fairness over those who fail to do so. The meeting also included an exchange of views on developing academic programs and improving the educational environment to meet the needs of society.
In a related context, and in the presence of Dr. Essam Wasil, the Head of the Libraries Department, the University Rector inspected the College Library to review the progress of the inventory and updating process.
He emphasized the importance of supplying it with electronic and paper books and references, particularly those that meet the needs of students in the College of Sharia and Law, thus enriching the educational process and raising the level of scientific research.
