■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, inaugurated the second semester exams at the College of Education this morning, as a part of an inspection visit to the college.
He was received by Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadi, the Dean of the College, and his two Deputies for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hammoud Al-Mulaiki and Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Quradha, and the College General Secretary, Dawla Al-Emdi.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Haifi inspected the examination process for 405 students, distributed across 11 examination halls.
The University Rector praised the level of organization witnessed by the college, appreciating the efforts made by the academic and administrative staff and the extent to which the examination committees adhered to the approved regulations and procedures, providing a model examination environment.
During the visit, the University Rector delivered a speech of encouragement to the students, urging them to work hard and diligently. He emphasized the importance of their specializations and the importance of their commitment to discipline and perseverance, as they are role models for future generations in the field of education. He emphasized that their success represents a key pillar of societal advancement.
From his part, the Dean of the College of Education expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University Rector for his interest and field follow-up, noting that this visit reflects the university leadership's commitment to supporting the college and developing its academic and administrative performance.
He emphasized that the college has taken all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of the examination process.
On the sidelines of the visit, the University Rector held a meeting with the Dean of the college, his Deputies, and the Heads of Academic Departments.
The attendees discussed a range of academic issues and ways to support specialized departments, such as the Computer Science Teacher Department, which is witnessing increasing student demand, given the growing need for digital skills with the accelerating digital transformation in educational institutions.
