Cultural Event at the Faculty of Education of the Anniversary of the Martyr and the Flood of Al-Aqsa

■ The Faculty of Education at Thamar University in cooperation with the University Student Forum organized today an awareness-raising cultural and rhetorical event on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyr of the year 1445, and in conjunction with the Al-Aqsa flood operation under the slogan "A Nation that Adores Martyrdom has Nothing Left in the Hands of its Enemies that can Scare it".

On the occasion, the Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi stressed out the importance of the culture of Jihad and Martyrdom in supporting the cause of Palestine and confronting tyrants and invaders.

Dr. Al-Haifi pointed to the importance of deterring tyrants and occupiers, especially the hateful Zionists, and linking the path of martyrdom in Yemen and Palestine and stressed that the two countries are walking on the same path and that the martyrs are fighting one enemy, the Zionist enemy, the enemy of Allah and the enemy of humanity .

Dr. Al-Haifi also stressed the importance of remembering and celebrating the martyrs, taking advantage of the martyr's week to visit the martyrs' Kindergartens, martyr exhibitions, visiting the martyrs' families, and caring for them, pointing out that the martyrs are credited with all the good and achievement achieved by Yemen or the Islamic nation.

The Dean of the Faculty of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Dumaini welcoming speech to the attendees where he pointed out the signs of victory for the people of martyrdom and Jihad in Palestine and also praised the culture of Jihad and martyrdom that is expanding and flourishing in our country every year.

He pointed out that this event reflected the awareness and deep interest of the leaders of Thamar University in the Palestinian cause and their support for the struggle, the defense of just rights, and the humanitarian cause of the Palestinian people.

He added that we and every free person in the world are proud of the achievement of our naval forces which were able to arrest one of the ships of the Zionist enemy attacking our Palestinian people in the Red Sea and take it to the coasts of Hudaidah.

From his part, the Cultural Consultant of the Rector of the University, Mr. Hassan Al-Mawshki spoke about the importance of the values of Jihad and martyrdom and their role in the victory of Palestine and the Islamic holy places, pointing out that the martyrs are dear to Allah, a source of inspiration and upliftment, and stressed that Allah preached sincere believers the good news, dignity, and preference over all creation based on their patience and Jihad.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawshki pointed out in the speech of the Faculty members that it is a great blessing for a person to have the favor of Allah, as martyrdom is the pinnacle of satisfaction and the ultimate acceptance, and Allah has blessed us with the leaders of the Mujahideen martyrs, starting from the martyr of the mihrab, who said Thankfully, "I won, Lord of Kaaba," passing through the martyrs of holy Jihad in all ages and time, up to the leader martyr, and the main martyr who gave their lives satisfied and pleased with what Allah has given them.

This event comes as an expression of the awareness and interest of the Faculty of Education at Thamar University in the cause of the martyrs, their great values, and an affirmation of solidarity with Palestine, and the emphasis on defending just causes.

The University encourages all members of society to support the martyrs and their families in order to preserve the values of pride, dignity, and religion.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, and a number of the University's Academic and Administrative Leaders, including the Vice-Dean for Higher Studies, Dr. Ahmed Massad Al-Hadi, the Director of the English Language Center at the University, Dr. Amin Al-Jamal, the Consultant of the Rector of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Mr. Yahya Al-Dhumrani, the Assistant General Secretary for Financial Affairs, Mr. Mishaal Sharhan, and the General Secretary of the College, Ms. Dawla Al-Emdi.
