The Vice-Rector of Thamar University inspects the final exams at the Faculty of eEngineering and attends the Cultural Competition Thamar University Media/ Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Akher 25, 1445. January 7, 2024 ■ Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs together with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Fouad Al-jarmouzi inspected today the final exams of the first semester at the Faculty of Engineering. During the visit, Dr. Al-Rifai confirmed the interest of the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the organization and consistency of the time period of classes at the Faculty of Engineering and the need to prepare for the second semester which will begin immediately after the end of the current tests. Dr. Al-Rifai gave his instructions to the students on the need to pay attention to the highest Educational Achievement to achieve the best grades in the exams as long as the opportunity is favorable for them to remember their brothers in Palestine and to stop at the importance of their cause which is forgotten by some Arab governments. He pointed out that Palestine needs our solidarity at this stage and our support for adults, young people, students and academics. He stressed that when we stand in solidarity with Palestine through our awareness-raising, educational and media activities, we stand in solidarity with ourselves, our cause and our faith. In another context, Dr. Al-Rifai attended the student cultural activities held at the Central Library, and during the announcement of the results, Dr. Al-Rifai informed the participants of the University President's interest in the competition. Where the students of the Faculty of Computing topped the first place, followed by the students of the Faculty of Medicine in second place, and then the students of Continuing Education came in third place. Dr. Al-Rifai praised the efforts made by the students and praised their active participation in student activities. He also congratulated the winning students and wished better luck to the students who did not agree with them to win the cultural competition which comes under the title "Al-Aqsa Flood" for the academic year 1445, 2023 2024.
