The Vice-Rector of Thamar University Inspects the Faculties, Discusses the Issues of Students and Continuing Education Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Akher 10 1445. December 23, 2023 ■ Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, inspected a number of Faculties of the University in order to follow up on Control Affairs, solve student problems, and issues of those who are struggling academically. During this visit, the Controls of a number of Faculties and Institutes of the University were inspected to ensure the degree of discipline in them, the accuracy of compliance with the regulations and regulations in force, in addition to following up on compliance with the schedule for the beginning of the second semester. In addition, Dr. Al-Rifai visited the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine where he met with its Dean, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, his Deputies, the Heads of Scientific Departments and the Head of the Control, and during this meeting, issues related to Control and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine were discussed. The Vice-Rector met with Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh and discussed with him a number of issues related to student activities and met with the Head of the Control at the College, in addition, he met the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs when visiting the College of Medical Sciences and the Head of Control. Dr. Al-Rifai also inspected the College of Engineering. In the same context, the Vice-Rector of the University visited the Institute of Continuing Education where he followed the progress of the final exams for the end of the first semester of the Pharmacy Departments, and a Doctor Assistant at the Institute, and urged students to obtain the best grades to achieve the highest positions. Dr. Al-Rifai also urged students to express solidarity with Ghaza and the heroes of Palestine by participating in marches, attending seminars, workshops, and events held by the University. Dr. Al-Rifai stressed out the need to boycott American and Zionist goods, if any in our local markets, including those goods that enter the medical industries, and health supplies. During this visit, Dr. Al-Rifai met with the Vice-Deans for Student Affairs, Academic Affairs and the Head of the Control and discussed with them many issues of the Institute's students that need to be addressed. Dr. Al-Rifai pointed out the need to put the student's interest first in a manner that does not violate the rules and regulations. He also visited the Faculty of Arts and met with the Vice-Dean, Dr. Aziz Al-Aqraa.
