In its periodic meeting, Thamar University outlines its digital portal

■ Towards a more effective digital presence and the establishment of a modern digital portal, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired today the periodic meeting dedicated to following up on the university's website development project. The meeting was attended by a number of university leaders, stakeholders, and specialists from its staff.
During the meeting, the University Rector reviewed the progress made by the work teams in the website development phases and the technical efforts undertaken to update its structure, interfaces, and content. This aims to enhance the efficiency of the university's electronic portal and facilitate access to university information and services for students, researchers, faculty members, and the public.
The technical committees also reviewed the proposed design models, which are intended to develop the website's identity and improve the user experience. This will pave the way for selecting the model that achieves a balance between design quality, ease of use, and performance efficiency.
The University Rector directed the technical committees to conduct a thorough comparative study of the models, completing their technical and functional evaluation, to arrive at the best possible option that reflects the status of Thamar University and its academic mission, and keeps pace with the requirements of digital transformation and modern university services.
