Management Training and Economic Consulting Center organizes Training Courses in Statistical Analysis and Research Methods

■ Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inaugurated the Administrative Training and Economic Consulting Center at the University today, the Second Intensive Training Course in the field of statistical analysis.

This qualitative course is aimed at fourth-level students who have been included in statistical data analysis courses using the SPSS statistical analysis program.

In a statement to the University's media, Dr. Al-Haifi stressed the importance of holding training courses in multiple fields under the title of "Al-Aqsa Flood" to train targeted students to analyze statistical data using the SPSS statistical analysis program, as well as in the methods of scientific research methods.

As indicated by Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Director of the Center, pointed out that these courses are necessary for the Center in its quest to activate its basic function and achieve the vision of Thamar University by providing training programs that serve the community and enhance the efficiency of College students in the Economic and Administrative fields.

Dr. Al-Mujahid added that the Center's activities will expand in various fields, noting that communication is currently underway with various bodies to train and qualify their cadres, and the Center's Management aims to raise the efficiency of students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences in various fields and enhance their abilities, especially in the use of computer applications and modern skills.

Dr. Al-Mujahid expressed her thanks and gratitude to Yemen Mobile Company, which contributed to equipping the Computer Laboratory at the Center which benefits dozens of students at the College today.

In addition, the Center for Management Training and Economic Consulting has launched today a free course in the field of preparing graduation research projects .

In the course, which targets 35 students over three days during which the trainer at the Center and a member of the Teaching Staff at Darb Thamar Community College, Dr. Qaid Al-Sudai, reviewed modern methods in the preparation of scientific research, documentation of references, and more concepts of scientific research methods.

These courses are a part of the Center's efforts to develop students' abilities and enhance their skills in scientific and applied fields and these efforts come within the framework of achieving the vision of Thamar University in providing training programs that contribute to community service and raise the level of scientific and professional competence of students.

It is worth mentioning that the Center has recently concluded a training course in statistical data analysis, which targeted 19 trainees and lasted for five days which was carried out by Trainer Dr. Zaid Al-Hadur, the Dean of the Center for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance at the University.
