■  Under the patronage of the Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, a workshop for characterizing Bachelor's courses according to NARS standards was held at the Economic Consulting and Administrative Training Center Hall at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences today in implementation of the strategic goal contained in the strategic plan 2022-2026 for updating academic programs and their continuous development in line with the changes of the labor market.

In the workshop, which comes under the title "Al-Aqsa Flood", the Rector of the University stressed that development and Business Excellence are linked to achieving a high degree of stability, pride, and dignity, and this can only come through a return to Islamic principles and constants.

Dr. Al-Haifi pointed to the University leadership's interest in describing all bachelor's courses at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and updating the previously described programs, including the programs and courses of Islamic culture and the Arab-Zionist conflict, as these courses are fundamental in developing the link with the Islamic nation, its constants, and the True Religion.

The Rector of the University stressed the keenness of the University leadership to update and describe the undergraduate and graduate courses, because Thamar University cares about the quality of University and Academic Education to ensure that University students have the latest vocabulary and the latest means of Education.

The Rector of the University pointed out that the Faculty of Administrative Sciences is one of the Colleges that the University leadership seeks to obtain academic accreditation, as its requirements have become widely available and education in it has become sufficiently well-established.

In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid thanked the Rector of the University for his interest and support to the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, his Deputy for Higher Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, his Deputy for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, for attending this workshop, despite the fact that Thursday is an official holiday.

she also thanked the attendees and participants from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences from various scientific departments.

She pointed to the tireless efforts of the College in coordination with the Quality Center to come up with a model description of all courses of Bachelor's programs at the College of Administrative Sciences, a description befitting a College that studies quality for its students in their courses and most of its cadres are experts in quality, development and academic accreditation.

From his part, the Dean of the Academic Development Center, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadur, provided a detailed explanation about the Neris standards and the importance of characterizing academic courses according to academic standards that take into account the highest degrees of academic characterization.

From his part, Dr. Amer Al-Sanbani, the Head of the Business Administration Department, gave a descriptive presentation of the business administration program, Dr. Majed Juael gave a descriptive presentation of the Marketing Management Program, Dr. Abdelfattah Dabaan gave a descriptive presentation of the financial and banking sciences program, and Dr. Bakil Dhaif Allah gave a descriptive presentation of the accounting program.

On the other hand, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, discussed the possibility of opening new academic programs, as the College is witnessing a large and growing demand and has ambition and full readiness to open new programs.

The workshop was attended by the Head of the Training Unit at the academic accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Ahmed Al-Furasi, the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sanbani, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mujahid, the Head of the Programs Unit at the Quality Center, Dr. Ahmed Massad Al-Hadi, the General Secartary of the College, the General Directors of Finance, Media, Cultural and International Relations, the Rector's Office, a number of Researchers, Students and Representatives of the Labor market.
