■  As a part of the Al Aqsa Flood events organized by Thamar University, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and the Center for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance organized today a workshop entitled "Developing Teaching Strategies and Evaluation in Doctoral Programs", in the Hall of the Center for Economic Consulting and Administrative Training at the College.

The workshop aims to enhance the quality of education in the college's doctoral programs, develop teaching strategies and evaluation systems and this step comes as a part of continuous efforts to update academic programs and develop them in line with the developments of the labor market.

The workshop witnessed a wide participation of academic members, supervisors of doctoral programs at the faculty, a number of researchers, and representatives of the labor market, experiences and knowledge were exchanged among the participants and best practices and modern trends in the field of teaching and evaluation were discussed.

At the workshop, the Rector of Thamar University welcomed all those present, and the Trained Quality Expert, Dr. Mohammed Abdullatif Al-Sharjabi, saying that welcome to this important workshop where specialists will draw up plans and a roadmap using the latest means in the teaching process and improve the teaching process.

He added that welcome everyone to this leading College in the field of Postgraduate programs, as it is the third at the level of Thamar University in granting doctoral degrees."

He pointed out the importance of this workshop in developing and improving the quality of Higher Education at the College, and confirming the University's commitment to providing an optimal learning environment for students in doctoral programs, as the organization of this workshop is a vivid example of Thamar University's commitment to continuous development, improving the quality of education and strengthening its position as a leading Educational Institution in the academic field.

From her part, the Dean of the College welcomed the Rector of the University and his Deputies, the General Secartary of the University, the Dean of Quality, and the participants for their gracious attendance at this important workshop.

She added that we are committed to providing high-quality education and developing our academic programs to meet the needs of the labor market and the local community to make our college graduates a model and a place of pride for the college.

From his part, the Dean of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadur, noted the center aspires to achieve success in this workshop and to develop graduate programs at the college to achieve the best levels of teaching and improve the Educational process in general.

The experts and specialists in the workshop presented lectures and interactive presentations covering a variety of topics related to the development of teaching and evaluation strategies, including the use of modern technologies in education, the assessment of academic performance, and the preparation of appropriate curricula.

The workshop was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Higher Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and the General Secretary of the University Dr. Mohammed Hutram, his Assistants, and a number of University Leaders.
