The Rector of Thamar University Inaugurates Final Exams for the First Semester of the College of Engineering and Praises Its Leadership

■ Eng. Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, along with Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, inaugurated the final exams for the first semester of the 1447, academic year this morning for 1,001 students from the College of Engineering. The exams were held amidst a distinguished organizational atmosphere and close administrative supervision.
The university leadership was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Fouad Al-Jermouzi, his Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Abbas, the heads of the academic departments, and the College General Secretary, Ali Al-Thumrani.
They accompanied the Rector of the University and the Vice-Rector on a field tour of eight examination halls distributed across three main committees. During the tour, they were briefed on the progress of the exams, the level of organization, the committees' readiness to receive students and their adherence to the examination guidelines and instructions.
During the tour, the University Rector praised the leadership of the College of Engineering and its administrative and academic staff, appreciating their efforts in raising the level of academic and organizational performance. He emphasized that the discipline and excellence achieved are the fruit of a cohesive and capable leadership that has been able to overcome many of the administrative, academic and student-related difficulties that previously hindered the college's development.
Professor Dr. Al-Haifi pointed out that the College of Engineering has now become a model for punctuality. The University Rector also emphasized the need to adhere to university dress and the religious identity of the college's members across all departments.
The commencement of the exams was attended by the Head of the University's Media and Public Relations Department, the General Director of the University Rector's Office, and a number of academic and administrative cadres and leaders at the college.
