Thamar University Launches Entrance Exams for 398 Students in the College of Engineering

■ Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, launched the competitive and admission exams for the College of Engineering's general system, accompanied by his Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Abdulfattah Al-Rifai.
The academic edifice of the College of Engineering witnessed intense competition among 398 candidates vying for 160 seats in various engineering specializations, including Civil, Architectural and Mechatronics.
The inauguration was attended by Dr. Khaled Al-Shraim, the Vice Dean of the College for Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Abbas, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Yafa'a, the Rector of the Faculty Members Syndicate, Mr. Mishaal Sharhan, the Rector of the Administrative Staff Syndicate, Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Muallimi, the General Registrar, and Mr. Ali Al-Dhamrani, the General Secretary of the College, in addition to a number of faculty members, university leaders and academic and administrative cadres.
At the inauguration, the University Rector offered important guidance and recommendations to the students, emphasizing that this day marked a significant milestone in their university careers, filled with advice and guidance toward academic and professional success.
He reassured those who had not been fortunate enough at this stage that the door was still open to them in the parallel system and in a number of specialized applied or humanities colleges at Thamar University.
