The Faculty of Education at Thamar University celebrates the graduation of 156 graduates Thamar University Media / Jamal Al-Bahri / October 29, 2023 ■ Under the patronage of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Faculty of Education at Thamar University organized today the graduation ceremony of 156 graduates from Eight Scientific Departments of the college, within the 22nd batch (Al-Aqsa Flood Batch) for the academic year 2023/2022. At the ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Ansi conveyed the congratulations and blessings of the Rector of the University to the celebrants of their graduation, expressing his wishes for the success of their joyful ceremony. Dr. Al-Ansi pointed out the importance of the Faculty of Education and the role of its graduates in the Education and upbringing of generations adding that teachers are owners of a message, not just carriers of a profession. He also thanked the Deanship of the Faculty and its Academic Staff for their efforts and the good choice of the name of the batch that immortalizes the name of Palestine and revives the Palestinian cause in memory. From his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Dumaini expressed his thanks to the attendees and the organizing committee and blessed the students for their joys and apologized to the parents because of the crowd for the lack of space. He touched upon the choice of the name of the batch "Al-Aqsa Flood", which represents pride and in the heroic operation carried out by the heroes of Palestine against the Zionist occupation forces. He pointed out that the naming of the batch as "Al-Aqsa Flood" comes as a message to the heroes of Gaza and to the people of Palestine as an expression of our solidarity with their sorrows, and we assure them that the enemy and the conspiracy are one. The graduates also gave a speech at the event, through which they thanked their teachers and the Deanship of the college, talked about their hopes, aspirations, gratitude for the support and guidance they received throughout their studies and confirmed their commitment to achieving their goals and achieving success, pledging to be good role models and active contributors to society. At the ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, the General Secartary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Al-Dumaini were honored as well as honoring graduates with certificates of appreciation. The ceremony was attended by Vice-Rectors, Heads of Scientific Departments, the General Secartary of the Faculty, and the General Director of Media at the University.
