The Rector of Thamar University Inspects the College of Arts and Emphasizes Its Role in Promoting Awareness and Culture

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, today conducted an inspection visit to the College of Arts, during which he held an expanded meeting with the college's leadership and academic and administrative staff.

During the meeting, the University Rector discussed a number of academic and administrative issues related to the college's mission and future plans. He emphasized the importance of activating the college's role in spreading national and regional awareness and promoting intellectual and cultural values ​​that contribute to protecting society against misconceptions and combating manifestations of extremism and hostile ideologies.

He pointed out that the College of Arts represents a key lever in consolidating national identity through the implementation of unified educational plans and the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences that open horizons for responsible scholarly debate and contribute to expanding interest in the nation's issues, most notably the Palestinian cause.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Amin Al-Jaber, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Aziz Al-Aqraa, the Head of the Libraries Department, Dr. Essam Wasil, the General Secretary of the College, Mr. Ali Al-Bakhrani, and a number of faculty and administrative staff members.
