Department head word
Peace be upon you and god bless him and his blessings in the beginning I would like to thank the President of Themar University, Prof. Dr. Talib Al-Nahari, by assigning me as head of the chemistry department and I hope to be the right person in the right place and work with all my energy to develop the department and leave a distinct and real fingerprint in it.
The chemistry department is one of the important departments, which is one of the basics through which the country will undoubtedly rise and develop in all fields, whether medical, economic or applied.
This department was established to meet the needs and requirements of the labor market, so academic staff are equipped in various economic and industrial fields.
The department teaches all the basic principles in the undergraduate stage so that the student can take a lot of information about this specialty and will benefit from it in any suitable employment opportunity.
The department also covers all aspects related to chemistry through the courses in the bachelor's stage, whether in the field of organic, organic, bio-industrial to other fields.
The student in the chemistry department can know all the knowledge of chemistry, which will reflect significantly on the department from an academic, research or industrial point of view, which in turn will undoubtedly reflect positively in covering the needs of the local market with effective and distinguished cadres who have the ability to innovate. And creativity.
We strive with all the department's professors and assistants to make this department a starting point and a research center for our students in all fields.
MISSION
تطوير البيئة الاكاديمية المثالية لإعداد الطلاب كمتخصصين في مجالات الكيمياء المختلفة ليكونوا قادرين علي الإسهام في الدفع بعجلة التنمية في اليمن.
GOALS
- يقوم القسم بإعداد الخريجين للعمل كأخصائيين وباحثين في مجال الكيمياء وفي مجال الكيمياء الحيوية للمساهمة في نهضة اليمن العلمية والصناعية والطبية .وإتاحة الفرصة للمتفوقين بالعمل كمعيدين في القسم وإكمال دراستهم العليا.
- يقوم القسم بتدريس مقررات الكيمياء النظرية والعملية لطلبة كلية الطب والعلوم الصحية وكلية طب الأسنان وكلية الهندسة والزراعة والتربية.
- تقديم الإستشارات في المجالات الكيميائية والبيئية وذلك للمساهمة في حل المشكلات العلمية والصحية والصناعية التي تدعم خطط التنمية باليمن.
- القيام بإجراء التحاليل الكيميائية التي تطلبها الجهات الحكومية والأهلية أو الأفراد.
- المساهمة في إعداد المتخصصين في المجالات المختلفة عن طريق تدريس مقررات الكيمياء لطلاب قسم الكيمياء والأقسام الأخرى بكليات العلوم والطب وطب الأسنان والزراعة والتربية.
- يقوم القسم بتدريس الجانب العملي لمقررات الكيمياء لطلاب قسم الكيمياء والأقسام الأخرى بكليات العلوم والطب وطب الأسنان والزراعة والتربية في مختبرات قسم الكيمياء.
