Objectives

The general objectives of the center are as follows:

1. Providing academic programs that contribute to achieving the university's mission in the field of computers.

2. Providing training programs for both; the university and the community in the field of computer.

3. Providing some services to the community represented in consultations and building websites and computer software.

4. Organizing and participating in computer-related meetings such as workshops and seminars at the local level.

5.  Coordinating with national and international institutions in the field of computer.

6. Creating a stimulating and useful academic climate for active faculty members in the computer field in order to improve performance in their field of specialization.

7. Contribution to the production, updating and transfer of knowledge through:

- Providing training and qualification programs to train and improve the skills and capabilities of human forces in the field of computer.

- Participate in raising the level of local and official awareness in the field of computers.

- Supplying Thamar University with various services in the field of computer science.
