Launching the Final Exams at the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at Thamar University

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, along with the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, launched today the final exams for the first semester at the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. There are 350 students from different levels and scientific departments participated in the exams in a distinguished academic atmosphere.

The Rector of the University was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Dr. Fathi Al-Shawish, and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Obbad, in addition to a number of faculty members, heads of scientific departments, and administrative and academic cadres at the college.

During his tour, Dr. Al-Haifi inspected the progress of the exams inside the halls and reviewed the organizations and equipment allocated for that, praising the efforts made by the college administration to overcome challenges and achieve academic stability.

He also visited the college control and a number of its administrative offices, praising the efforts of the dean of the college and its staff in improving the quality of education and achieving efficiency in performance despite the difficult circumstances and in establishing close relations with agricultural institutions and offices in the governorate.

The University Rector pointed out the importance of continuing to develop the educational process, and intensifying efforts to keep pace with modern developments in the fields of agriculture and veterinary medicine, in a way that meets the needs of society and the labor market.

From his part, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri stressed that the college was keen to provide a model educational environment for students during exams, by providing the necessary technical and administrative support, expressing gratitude for the University Rector's interest in the college and his efforts to support it and overcome the difficulties it faces, praising the concerted efforts within the college to make the educational process a success.

This step comes within a series of field visits made by the University Rector to follow up on the progress of the educational process in the various colleges to enhance the quality of academic performance and raise the level of the University.
