Inspection the progress of exams for (367) students in the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at Thamar University

■ In an academic atmosphere of discipline and seriousness, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected this morning the progress of the final exams for the first semester in the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, accompanied by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, and a number of university leaders.
The University Rector was received by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, his Deputy for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Obbad, the General Secretary of the College, Bassam Al-Wasabi, and a number of faculty members and the administrative body.
During the tour, the University Rector was briefed on the progress of exams taken by 367 students from different majors and academic levels, praising the organizational efforts made by the college leadership and its academic and administrative staff in managing the exam process with high efficiency, despite the current challenges.
The University Rector stressed the importance of the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in the academic system of Thamar University, as they represent a safety valve for national food security and a main axis in supporting agricultural and veterinary development, noting that the excellence of their scientific outputs contributes to enhancing self-sufficiency and improving the quality of local production.
The Rector of the University and his entourage also inspected a number of the colleges’ buildings, learning about their service needs and academic requirements, directing the need to continue working as one team and stressing the commitment of the university presidency to provide more support during the next phase to improve the infrastructure and provide the two colleges with strategic projects that contribute to achieving a qualitative shift in their educational and research environment.
The University Rector concluded his tour by expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the college leadership and its staff who work faithfully under difficult circumstances, stressing that Thamar University is continuing to develop its educational programs and improve the quality of its outputs in a way that keeps pace with the needs of society and enhances its academic and national mission.
