I am thrilled to state that the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is one of the most important departments for a student of human medicine. That is because it is considered to be complementary to what a student has previously studied in other applied departments and paves the way for him to step the clinical stage. After graduating with a diagnosis of the disease, a medical graduate must know the drugs that treats various diseases, with their dosages, mechanism of use, possible side effects, and how to avoid and treat them when they occur. A student also learns about the different treatment methods and periods of use and choosing the best ones to treat each case. All these things must be assimilated and practiced by a doctor every day so that he can provide a suitable and safe service for patients of all categories and age. 

This department includes an elite group of distinguished professors with competence and experience in their specialization, as well as the staff of teaching assistants and administrators who perform their duties to the fullest, which must have reflected positively on the graduate level and makes him/her distinguished and competitive to major universities graduates locally and regionally.
