The Rector of Thamar University Chairs the Second Meeting of the Academic Council and Discusses Several Academic Issues

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired the second meeting of the university's Academic Council today, in the presence of council members.

The council began its proceedings by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting, before discussing the items on its agenda. These included several settlement, promotion, and sabbatical leave applications, as well as a number of academic matters related to the colleges.

The meeting emphasized the importance of completing academic procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and systems, thereby enhancing the smooth operation of academic work and raising the level of performance across the university's various colleges.
