The Fifth Academic Council Meeting of the Academic Year1447 at Thamar University

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University and the Chairman of the Academic Council, chaired the fifth meeting of the university's Academic Council today.

This meeting reflects the university leadership's commitment to establishing a structured work methodology and enhancing the quality of academic performance. The meeting began with the reading and approval of the minutes of the fourth meeting of the academic year 1447, a step that demonstrates the regularity of institutional work at Thamar University.

During the meeting, the council discussed a number of academic issues related to organizing scientific affairs. Several academic settlements and promotions were approved, as well as decisions regarding sabbatical leave, in order to ensure the motivation of academic competencies.

The meeting, which was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, also witnessed the approval of changing the name of the Marketing Department in the College of Administrative Sciences to the Digital Marketing Department, in a step that reflects the university’s keeping pace with modern transformations in the fields of business, and its response to the requirements of the labor market, and the rapid developments in the digital economy and modern marketing technologies.
