Thamar University Holds its Fourth Academic Council Meeting, Discussing Settlements, Promotions, and the Case of Faculty Members Who Have Been Absent

■ Thamar University held its fourth Academic Council meeting today, chaired by Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the University Rector, and attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi. The meeting discussed a number of academic issues.

The meeting also addressed the academic settlement files for faculty members and reviewed the procedures governing them to enhance discipline and adherence to regulations.

The Council also discussed several academic promotions for faculty members, aiming to develop promotion criteria and support research within the university.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council approved several recommendations, including those related to the status of faculty members and their assistants who have been absent, after discussing ways to address their situation according to academic standards.
