Thamar University conducts competitive tests to select 15 assistant faculty members

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected today the progress of the scientific competitive tests to select 15 assistant faculty members at the university.
 
This step comes within the framework of enhancing the efficiency of academic cadres and selecting an elite group of qualified scientific competencies to join the academic and research development process at the universityfor the academic year 1446, in line with the university's strategic vision.
 
These tests, which aim to conduct a comprehensive assessment to measure the capabilities of applicants holding a master's degree in various disciplines, with a focus on scientific and professional aspects and their compatibility with the requirements of excellence in the educational and research process are organized by the Vice Deanship of Academic Affairs at the university.
 
During his inspection tour, the University Rector stressed that this comparison represents a fundamental pillar in the university's policy to build a teaching staff capable of competing locally and regionally and reflects the university's commitment to comprehensive quality standards and transparency in selecting scientific competencies and electing the best for faculty membership.
 
He also praised the distinguished organizational efforts made by the academic affairs supervising the examination process, stressing the importance of ensuring its integrity and objectivity. 
 
From his part, Professor Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, explained that the evaluation includes a written test and interviews, with the aim of measuring the research, teaching and innovation skills of applicants, taking into account the fair distribution of jobs among rare and required specializations. 
 
The General Director of Academic Affairs, Mr. Saleh Naji and a number of directors of technical and academic departments participated in organizing the tests, as the tests were organized according to a clear and transparent mechanism for implementing the tests and evaluating performance, taking into account the application of the highest standards of accuracy and academic quality standards.
