December 19, 2023 Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, checked out the final exams of the "20" batch of Sixth-Year Medicine students, the Al-Aqsa Flood Batch, whose graduation coincides with the Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University. During the visit, which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Amtalkhaliq Mihras, Dr. Al-Haifi spoke to the examiners congratulating them on the imminent completion of their first University stages, assuring them that the doors of the University are open for continuity in Scientific Research and Higher University Studies to move to Master's Programs in their scientific specialties. The Rector of the University pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University is among the distinguished Faculties which have unique and distinctive opportunities at the national level, and includes modern, digital laboratories, and Alwihdah University Hospital as a leading medical edifice, suitable for application, academic and scientific research in medical fields. Dr. Al-Haifi added that today, the final exams of the "20" batch of Sixth-Year Medicine students are emerging whose graduation coincides with the Silver Anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University as those efforts and others were the reason for Thamar University to surpass all Yemeni Public Universities to obtain an Academic Accreditation Certificate in Medicine and Surgery. The Rector of the University referred to the Palestinian issue and the special role played by Palestinian doctors during the response to the recent Zionist aggression, where Mujahideen of Ghaza doctors, God willing, and caring for their people were able to save thousands of innocent lives that the Zionist ogre sought to destroy with the lava of planes of treachery and hatred, pointing out that all obstacles were placed in front of them and all the advantages were destroyed by planes of hatred and criminality, but the will to be destroyed. He added that we have seen your colleagues conducting major and minor operations without capabilities, sometimes in the air filled with the smoke of war, the dust of raids, and at night on the lights of phones and cars, and because the Will is high, and the goal is God's disease, they have succeeded, and we are confident in you individually that you are up to the responsibility, and bear the same as your colleagues in Palestine of humanity, patriotism, attachment to God, and Jihadist religious commitment. During the open meeting with the Rector of the University and his Entourage, the Dean of the College discussed a number of ambitious plans in the academic and administrative field with the aim of maintaining the excellence enjoyed by the Faculty of Medicine in order to improve its various programs and maintain the excellence of Medicine and Surgery programs in which the college received an Academic Accreditation Certificate.
